Jane Chamberlain is an independent business consultant
who founded "Business Diligence" to extend her
business consulting experience to a wide range of clients.
Jane has an impressive 15-year record of delivering quality business outcomes in areas such as business operations,
business improvement, project management, risk management and internal audit. In addition Jane has extensive
agribusiness industry experience and is skilled in the review and assesment of new and existing business prospects.
Known for her commitment to coaching and developing the technical leadership and business acumen of individuals
and teams; Jane's strength is in empowering those who work with her to succeed.
Notable career achievements for Jane whilst at the nab include:
- Overall responsibility for the operational management of the $26 million
Group Internal Audit budget as agreed with the nab Principal Board
Audit committee for Aus, NZ & the UK.
- Managed the operations for Agribusiness Financial Services, a team of 520 bankers across 19 regions in Australia.
- Implemented over 20 strategic projects meeting both time and budget
constraints as Project Director for Agribusiness Financial Services.
- Developed the Dairy Adjustment loan and Wheat Advance loan in
consultation with Industry Regulators, farmer groups, nab Group Legal and the Australian Banking Association (ABA)
- The first female in the history of the National Australia Bank to be
appointed to the role of Agribusiness Manager.
Jane earned her Agricultural Economics degree and a Diploma in
Project Managment from the University of New England in
Armidale NSW and is an active member of several professional
